I'd just like to say that I seem to have noticed a pattern developing from recent Irish personalities screened on Channel Four, namely Graham Norton, Anna the Lesbian Ex-Nun from BigBrother1, and now Brian, winner of BB2... Notice a homo(genous) homo-sexual pattern anyone?

Not that I'm disparaging this, I think it's great, it's just interesting... After centuries of sexual repression we seem to be finally emerging from our shells, no pun intended! Ah, no, I think it's great - who knew? Maybe the years under the church's thumb have resulted in our entering the 21st century as a nation of sex-crazed extroverts? I'm not even going to start on the Westlifes and Stephen Gately's of our country's youthful generation....

I think that if nothing else BB served as a fascinating insight into the cultural and psychological preconceptions, and in many cases misconceptions, of the various cultural groups that starred on it.

So until we see a version of So Brain Dowling, I watch in wait. And try and act masculine, you know, like?
