Advantages: Good stories, believable

Disadvantages: Stories sometimes go on too long

I never really liked The Bill until I found that nothing was on on a Wednesday and Thursday at 8pm, so I found myself watching it and really starting to get into it.
Its great to watch a programme like this which you can ewatch every week without a stop for 3 months or whatever the stoppage time is for programmes such as Midsomers, and Trial And Retribution.
You always get a mizx of the real things which are happenin in Britain today, so its well up to the times, at the minute with stories on gangs and drugs, which are real problems in areas like London and other major cities which is good as we can really relate to the things happening in the programme.

the only thing I don't like about The Bill, is that sometimes the stories go on for tooooo long, I remember one story abotu a little girl who had been kidnapped, it went on for months and months. I know its what really happens and children aren't just found in the next couple of days, or in alot of cases anyhow (look at Madelene McAnne's case which is still on going almost 2 years later) but, this is a soap (of likes), and stories really do need to be cut a little shorter, the thing is with these long stories like with alot of soaps, if you miss one programme, your knakcered and dont have a clue whats happening!!

but, other than this, the programme really is good, the stories are believable and the cast are good...yes a few bad actors, and a few things which aren't right..I'm quite sure someone as small as the character Beth couldn't be a police officer at the height of around 5ft3.

But other than this, an overall good show!! :-D
