Our own Zoë Slater from East Enders is gone to America to play the role of Bionic woman. Michelle Ryan who played the character is star of this new TV show in America. I have seen original Bionic Woman shows on TV, these date from the 70's. In this newer version of the show, much of the background is same as before. Story of Bionic woman (Jaime Sommers) begins when she has a bad car crash. State of the art operation is performed on her to make her function again. She once better discovers that she can has super powers.

Being a special case she is hired by an agency to carry out assignments for them flying to Paraguay in one episode, she goes to Paris to stop an evil scientist, works for CIA.

Bionic Woman can run very fast, she has super strength, perfect vision and senses and is very strong.

8 episodes were made in America before writers strike stopped work. ITV 2 will show here. I've seen some of the episodes on internet.

From what I have seen new show is far superior in technology used to make it. It has more violence in it and the characters are mostly bland or angry.

Bionic woman is average tv show.
