Disadvantages: a lot of violence and not too good acting

I was looking forward to watching the first episode of bionic woman last night on itv2 at 9pm.

It has Michelle Ryan who played Zoe Slater in eastenders in the lead role as Jaime Summers, bionic woman.

The plot to this goes that Jaime is struggling to pay her bills working as a bar maid in california wholst helping her sister. Jaime is nearly killed in a car accident and only survives after her boyfriend performs a major operation never attempted before, he gives her prosetic ear, eye, legs and right arm aswell as implants, all these prosetics give Jaime a super power which means she is stronger and faster than anyone else.

After sitting through the first episode last night i have to say i was not impressed, the adverts for this program had made it look brilliant but it just didnt do it for me, there isnt realy a very strong story line to the series which has 8 episodes all going to be aired on a tuesday night at 9pm on itv2. There is a lot of violence and not a lot else, unless you are a fan of Michelle Ryan, which i am not as i couldnt stand her acting in eastenders and this is even worse i dont think there is any point in watching this series at all.

Summary: i dont know about prosetics the acting is wooden
