Advantages: clean easy and fun in the 70's.
Disadvantages: not for todays kids I think.
Heard of the six million dollar man? Ever wondered how they would do another? Well the Bionic woman was the female version. Where Steve had a bionic eye, arm and legs, Jamie Summers(if I remember right that was her name) had a bionic ear, arm and legs too. She would listen to conversations without leaving the building and then jump to the rescue and she could even lift up and toss heavy weights with her arm. Faster than the speed of sound like her counterpart, Lyndsey Wagner played her female semi-machine with charismatic splendour. Tall, Blonde and nice smile, while all the boys were busy taking off poor copies of the bionic man in slow motion, all the girls were trying to be the Bionic woman in the same way. Funny isn't it that, when something stirs the child's imagination it sticks with you for the years to come?! I enjoyed the series very much yet with modern day action programmes for kids I don't suppose that todays kids would enjoy it half as much.
