Blind DateNewest Review: ... funny stories to tell about their time together. The show also brought some people together which was sweet to see. The best bits to watch on the show were when people were talking to each other with out seeing each other. It was just good to see how different people were judged on the show with out getting them selves seen to each other. The show made a difference on how people choose others before looking at them. Blind Date was a classic program and a good time past back in the days when it was shown on TV weekly. It is no longer shown on TV no more but I think its still a classic show to watch.... more |

I used to watch this many years ago the whole show was about dating. It was hosted by Cilla Black who did a good job of being the host in the show and telling the love story. This is what happened in the show a man and a woman would both have turns in getting a blind date. They would be speaking to 3 other people who they could not see. Now depending on their likes and dislikes they will choose one who they can go on a date with. A week later on the show they would return back and tell the audience and Cilla Black how it went. This was a good part of the show as some people who did not get on well had some very funny stories to tell about their time ... Read the complete review

I remember this is one of the shows i watched all the time when i was a kid and i completely loved it! I have really fond memories of sitting watching it in my pyjamas with a cup of hot choocolate beside me. If you have never seen Blind Date, it is a dating game show that came to our screens in 1985 and ran until 2003. It was hosted by the brilliant Cilla Black and was narrated by Graham Skidmore. It was produced by London weekend television and each episode was 60 minutes long. I completely loved this show as i remember it being the only dating show around at the time. I loved seeing the contestants coming out and hearing their really ... Read the complete review

Come back Blind Date! I was shocked and emotional when this got ditched and televison has never really been the same since. Those saturday nights spent huddled up on the sofa with a take-away, watching a new set of people each week make fools of themselves. Oh! The memories! The Concept: Each week three men would sit behind a screen, while on the opposite side sat a lady. The lady would ask the men three questions, posing the same question to each man. At the end of her questions, she would choose which man she would like to pick as her blind date. The process was then reversed with one man picking from three ladies behind the screen. All this time, ... Read the complete review

How can we ever forget this 'diamond in the rough' show? Presented by the famous Liverpudlian, Cilla Black, Blind Date was a show which pared off couples and whisked them off to a holiday destination to see if they formed a lasting bond that would take them throught he rest of their lives together. The show involved a man or a woman who stood one side of a moving wall and on the other side would be three people of the opposite sex. The single person would ask the others, three questions and they would answer it. After the questions were done the person would choose who he/she liked the sound of and they'd get to choose between three envelopes which would ... Read the complete review

Blind Date was a dating show which was hosted by Cilla Black from 1985 to 2003 and was shown on ITV1 (known as ITV back then!). Three people of the same sex, who claimed to be single, were shown to the audience and kept seated behind a screen and then Cilla would be on the other side of the screen with another person, of the opposite sex, again, claiming to be single, who would then ask the 3 people questions to try and find out which person they would prefer to go on a date with. When they made a decision as to who to date they would then meet the 3 people that they had questioned (the person they picked coming out last) and this could often have hilarious ...
