Advantages: Sometimes funny

Disadvantages: A lorra lorra dates don't work very well!

This programme can be good for a laugh but no one could possibly take it seriously. One contestant gets to choose between three likely (or unlikely) candidates. The picker can't see them so has to judge by the answers they give to three questions.

It is often perfectly clear why some of the candidates 'on offer' would need a blind date! The pickers sometimes has unrealistic ideas about what they want too.

Eventually a date is chosen and the guinea pigs get to see each other. There is usually an embrace and a kiss which is often a bit false. The contestants' expressions sometimes say 'oh no, what have I got here?'

The winners go away on holiday and have to reveal all when they come back.

Sometimes these liaisons work! Others are rather funny to the viewer.

Good for a laugh but not a show to be taken seriously. If you want a blind date this doesn't seem to be a good place to find the right one. Still, you do get a holiday thrown in if you win on this show,

I got bored with it because the contestants, whether male or female, are nearly always the same types i.e loud, over-dressed, self-centred extroverts.
