Blind Date……Have You Ever Been On One???
-------------------------------------------

I have to say right away that I am forced to watch this show, as both my wife and daughter love it. And it must be popular with the public as it has a peak viewing spot and has been on the box for years…..

It is of course a show were a blind date is set up, you have a guy or girl taking there pick from 3 people. They ask the 3 people three questions and then take their pick, but what makes the show what it is….

Is it the lovely Misssss Cilla Black, it could be. I never liked Cilla as a singer but I must say she is brilliant on that show and has a brilliant personality. To be honest she has got better looking over the years as well or maybe as I am getting older I am getting less fussy…

Anyway if it’s not Cilla could it be the contestants. Sometimes I would say to the wife to pick which one of the three guys you would like on a blind date and a lot of weeks she can’t. As I am not to fussy I always pick one, in fact I even picked one the time they did a pensioners blind date. I thought the purple rinse was very sexy actually and besides she still had teeth…

One thing you always notice about the three contestants is that one of them is a total freak. The audience laughs every time they answer a question and their answer is usually total crap but I know you have guessed, they are always picked. I just wish I was a total freak and got on like a header then maybe I would pull a few women. And they always wear the most stupid clothes but most of all I hate the snobby ones.

When they answer the question it’s always like “If you pick me I will put my tongue right down your throat” and then they go on the date and do bugger all. I would have them up in court for making a remark and then not standing by it….

I love it when they come back and start slag
ging each other off, it’s so good when each of them has a different view on what happened. Personally if I was on the blind date I would have a ball and if the date didn’t like me I wouldn’t be long picking something else up..

The thing I hate about the show is that boring Graham, the guy is getting a wage for nothing. I could do that job ten times better, he just throws a few phrases together and that’s it. I wonder what sort of salary he is on, if I had my way he would be sacked tomorrow…

Overall it’s a good idea for a show though wouldn’t it be a laugh if the show was a bit more x-rated, or am I just being bad. I think Cilla makes the show and also the token freak without whom the show wouldn’t be as funny. Cilla really does wind them up and in a way reminds me a lot of Bruce Forysthe…

So my verdict is I love the show, so tell me have you ever been on a blind date. I went on one many years ago and it was a disaster and the worst about one is once you turn up that’s you for the rest of the night….

Anyway thank you yet again for turning up, I have been very busy at work lately so will catch up on my reads this week, take care, as ever your friend online……….

Lots of ops to catch up on from you, but they seem to be lacking some of your usual sparkle - everything ok?

Yes, I think that Cilla and Bruce have that special ingredient where they laugh with the contestants and not at them.

We always have a giggle at it too ;{}
