Advantages: Gentle Learning Fun
Disadvantages: Not on terrestial TV yet
Tedious, repetitive music, annoying presenter that never changes his shirt, living in a cartoon world where even the salt and pepper pot talk! That sounds like a recipe for a good kids program then! And the toddlers love it! I have yet to see it on terrisital TV, but its only a matter of time. My 3 year old watches it on Nickleodeon 12.30 every weekday. I believe that digital customer benefit from 3 showings a day. However the opening statement for this kids program is 'The more they watch, the more they learn' therefore they repeat the same show each day for a whole week on Nickleodeon, which may save video tapes but it would be good to change that particular policy. The show is presented by Kevin and his Dog Blue, they have a dilemma to solve, now Blue can't really talk, just help Kevin get the clues by placing a big blue paw print on object that may assist him. Its usually trying to figure out an event, like the birth of the cruet sets baby (Paprika!) or a nursery rhyme, or how to find lost things etc. It's a gentle learning program that works really well. I see http://www.humongous.com sell Blues Clues games, but for now I'm happy with Softseeks Blues Clues freeware games, both sites well worth a look.
