What a great kid's show! (Blue's Clues!)

Advantages: fun to watch, kids learn new things all the time

Disadvantages: none so far!

My daughter, now 20 weeks old, started watching this show just by accident really because it was on before Sesame Street. I happened to watch the end of it one day, and it really peaked my interest. It's on here on Nick Jr every morning at 8:30 for a half hour.

I then watched the entire show the next day and thought it was really good. It's about this guy Kevin, and his dog Blue. The start the show with a little intro and then say that Blue wants to do something today for which you need to find the clues (along with Kevin) and then figure it out.

Blue stamps his pawprint on 3 different items and when they're seen, Kevin draws them into his notebook only to be brought out again at the end of the show to put the whole puzzle together.

Throughout the show they have songs, and other things like letters and sounds presented in a very upbeat and fun manner.

The show is also repeated 5 times in a row because studies have shown that this is how pre schoolers learn best.

My daughter isn't in pre school yet, but she loves the show and squeals with delight every time she watches it!
