Advantages: Great educational young kids programme

Disadvantages: Drive adults nutty!!!! ;)

This is one of the few TV programmes my eldest son will entertain...hes not really into cartoons much but will watch Disney videos and of course Blues Clues! Even though it can be quite frustrating putting up with this mad person jumping around your screen for the parents the kids really seem to enjoy it and it does seem quite educational. After watching my son slowly getting engrossed into this programme I decided to import him some Blues Clues toys from a friend in America (I have yet to find anywhere in the UK that sells stuff) for his birthday and one thing we got him was a video....in short I certainly think the english version is better! The American guy is called Steve and in my opinion doesnt seem to put as much "enthusiasm" into it. Not that this is very relevant as we DO have the english version and that seems quite entertaining enough....

It is (at the moment) only available on Skys NickJR which is a shame for those who dont have Sky, but I'm sure in time it will be put onto mainstream TV. It centres around "Kevin" and his puppy "Blue" and the fact that when "Blue" gets bored they play a game called "Blues Clues" (you'd never have guessed!! ;)) this involves Blue leaving his pawprint on 3 different items either in the Blue House or Blue Garden and Kevin searching for them having lots of fun along the way...theres also lots of fun characters like Blues friend Magenta and a salt and pepper set called Mr Salt and Mrs Pepper and they have a lickle baby called Paprika. The kids love it!!!

This has got to be one of the best educational kids programmes I know which is suitable for all ages, my youngest has just got into it at 15months yet my neice loves it too and shes 8! If you've not yet been introduced to Blue and his friends I would definitely recomend it although at times it can drive you mad, its worth it as the kids love it - I've yet to meet a child who doesnt like
"Blues Clues" :)
