 Bob the Builder TV Programme

Bob the Builder

Newest Review: ... bed linen - the list is endless. The voice of Bob, Neil Morrissey, has remained the same throughout the entire live cycle of the programme and I think this helps the children believe that he is real. I have also taken my older son to a Bob the Builder Live on Stage which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had thought he would be outgrowing the character by now as he is nearly 4, but he still loves him and chooses to watch him during his television time in the afternoon. I think my house is going to be filled with Bob for years to come. Fantastic programme.... more

When my first son was little, he didn't really watch much television. Until he found Bob the Builder!! He was only tiny when I first realised that the he could be screaming wildly, yet the second the theme tune began, silence. He was capitvated. And so it began. The obsession. Suddenly everything became about Bob, the fictional builder who worked and lived in Bobsville. He had a sidekick, Wendy, and bright coloured machines to do all the hard work, Dizzy, Lofty, Roley, Scoop and Muck. The episodes are short enough to keep a young child's attention, yet long enough to fulfill quite a good story. They teach children about friendship, helping ...  Read the complete review

Since we first went to butlins where one bob the builders is one of the main attractions there my kids have been bob mad. This is mums best friend when you need 10 minutes me time to but you make up on or just to kick back and have a cuppa. Bob the builder as a children cartoon program which is designed for pre school children but myself I think this does last till the child is older than this. Because of the bright colours on bob the builder it does keep the attention of younger children my little boy has been watching it since about 8months (bad parent alert). In each episode of bob the builder, Bob and his gang help do ...  Read the complete review

Bob The Builder is a wonderful kids' TV programme that seems to be timeless. It has run for a few years now, and is still highly popular with kids now. The format has a figurine character named Bob, who is a builder, and his assistant Wendy, and a whole host of building machines, complete with faces and voices and minds of their own. It gives a nice insight into the world of being a builder, as well as teaching kids about the differences between right and wrong. The machines include Scoop, Muck, Roley, Dizzy and Lofty, and include a digger, a crane and a cement mixer. Each episode follows Bob and his friends in the town of Bobsville as he goes around fixing ...  Read the complete review

During the holidays I have been watching quite a lot of cartoons whilst babysitting my little nephew and ?Bob the Builder? is one he really likes. He was so enthralled by it that I decided to by him the video which went down really well with him. The weird thing is that when you watch ?Bob the Builder? you can?t get the tune out of you?re head, it?s very catchy and I suppose the amount of times they say it it?s bound to stick in your head. It is a cartoon animation and each programme starts a new story although you can?t tell by the fact that the concept is the same all the time. The cartoon can be quite interactive they shout ?Can we fix ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bob the Builder: Now its Bob the Muso!!! (538 words)

I reckon he might start hanging out with other celebs and trashing hotel rooms. Bob the builder is a pop star. Its official. Bob who once made his ends meet with a trowel and a few bricks can now be seen on most top 40 shows at a weekend strutting his stuff while poorly covering Shaggy songs. Now, Im not knocking Bob's creative genius but someone needs to have a word with him. His career as an international pop star is doomed unless he comes up with some original material. Bob the Builder as opposed to Bob the Pop star is an ingenius stroke of animation and entertainment that keeps small children glued to the TV. There is a ...  Read the complete review
