Bob the Builder is one of the better animations and definitely less irritating that some. The theme tune I can live with except at 5 in the morning !!!

Bob the builder rates along side Postman Pat and Fireman sam in my opinion. It is about someone that children see regularly, possibly daily in some form or other. Every child loves to stand and watch builders working especially if there are cranes, cement mixers, lorries etc etc involved.

Bob is a builder with his trusty sidekick Wendy (we do sense that Wendy is suffering from unrequited love here!!) and his team of machines - Lofty, Dizzy, Scoop, Muck and the trusty scarecrow (Spud) and Travis the tractor. Isn't it sad that I can name all these without any prompting from my 3 year old!!

The stories are fairly basic, nothing too outlandish and all believable - well, assuming you can cope with talking machines!

A must for all under fives (and some over fives).
