Advantages: kids love it and lots of bargins to be had

Disadvantages: song sticks in you head all day

Since we first went to butlins where one bob the builders is one of the main attractions there my kids have been bob mad.

This is mums best friend when you need 10 minutes me time to but you make up on or just to kick back and have a cuppa.

Bob the builder as a children cartoon program which is designed for pre school children but myself I think this does last till the child is older than this.

Because of the bright colours on bob the builder it does keep the attention of younger children my little boy has been watching it since about 8months (bad parent alert).

In each episode of bob the builder, Bob and his gang help do some kind of building job. But instead of the main focus being on the job it more on how the team works together get things done when they work together as a team.

Bob has a phase that is so well known and that is CAN WE FIX IT? And his gang and children watching all YES WE CAN!, well all apart from one of his gang who always says well yeh I think so.

The main characters of the show are

Bob he is the Builder
Wendy she is bob partner (but there is some sexual tension between her and bob)
Scoop is a yellow back loader
Muck is a red bulldozer
Dizzy is a orange concrete mixer
Roley is a green steamroller
Lofty is a blue crane
Spud is a mischievous scarecrow

They are lots more that pop up in the show but these are the main ones

Bob the builder is great for kids mine love it and I love it not only because I get some peace but because bob is time less and has been around for a while some children are growing out of the bob stuff while it is still popular so you can pick up some good bargain of bob stuff at car boots and eBay

Summary: can we have five mins peace? yes we can
