Advantages: A great children's program

Disadvantages: The amount of 'stuff' with Bob's picture on you can buy

My daughter loves Bob the Builder. It's gone from being the little program at the end of Teletubbies to the whole reason she watches TV in a very short time.
Bob is a builder who works with five different machines, all with their own personalities and fears. Each program usually has some problem- a storm, getting in the harvest, or looking after a bird's nest, but Bob and his team always solve the problem, and save the day. Just for good measure Bob is helped out by Wendy, who started off answering the phones, and now does the building work herself, a tractor and a naughty scarecrow called Spud. It's also got one of the grooviest theme tunes on TV!
It's a great program for a wide age range. My daughter isn't quite two and loves it, and a friend's little boy who is nearly five also enjoys it.
The only downside to Bob The Builder is that, like may other children's program's, it heavily marketed. During a trip around the supermarket I might hear the cry "BobBob" five or six times, with comics, videos, books, toys, and even pasta shapes in tomato sauce all being available with Bob's picture on it . Apart from that, I, like my daughter love Bob the Builder!

My children, who are nearly four and five, love the website. It's a bit too old for your daughter, but you might like to tell your friend!
