Due to my nana recently becoming a little unwell, I have been spending a lot of my afternoons at hers while my daughter attends nursery. In doing this I have been graced with the not so pleasurable afternoon soaps. I must admit I hated doctors at first but it has now grown on me and diagnosis murder is canny aswell so I cant complain about them even though I would much rather prefer to watch a bit of Jeremy Kyle. So one afternoon my nana turns the television over to diva T.V, to be honest I had never heard of this channel in my life but I was assured by my nana that something called the bold and the beautiful was starting and it was great. I have now watched the show for about 2 months, every day for an hour.

The first thing I noticed about the show was the set, it seems to be quite badly made and considering the show hasn't got a very big cast you always seem to see the characters in one of a few rooms. The acting is pretty basic too, there seems to be a lot of crying and shouting and all round dumbness. It annoys me to think that in situations these people seem to come from their own little world. We have mothers sleeping with daughter's husbands and amazingly a woman with terminal cancer who comes back to life. As I mentioned before the cast is relatively small so you tend to see the characters lots of times throughout the programme.

I can remember when I was a child and I used to make stories up for school and the characters always had these great names that I wish I was called, well this to me seems just like that. All the characters seem to have great names Brooke, Bridgett, Stephanie, Taylor, Ridge, Nick and Donte. If you have ever seen this show you will also know that everyone in it is gorgeous even the older actors look amazing.

The show is definitely full of drama and the story lines vary by the week. There is nothing the producer's cant do to surprise you and no story line they wont try to keep you hooked. I have started to read a magazine while this show is on now as I feel its just to false to be true, yet as I'm sitting and I hear my nana going eeee, I cant help but ask, what's happened, what's going on. I think this show is mindless TV at its best, everyone has slept with everyone and there isn't a person in it that isn't trying to screw someone over.

I think this show is worth giving a go just to see for yourselves but beware it strangely becomes a little bit addictive even when you don't want it to be.
