Advantages: Hilarious toilet humour, great interaction between characters, good physical comedy

Disadvantages: The physical comedy is violent so this is not for all and the humour is extremely crude

I am a huge fan of the Young Ones and love the follow on show Bottom as much as if not more than the this. Bottom is best described as a Marmite comedy in that you are going to either love it or hate it.
The show is based on the lives of Richie and Eddie who are flat mates who live on little money, are failures in love and very much lazy work shy slackers. The comedy is very strongly based on simple toilet humour and a large amount of violence along with drinking to excess...this is not a comedy that people who are easily offended should watch as there is a lot in the show to cause offence but if you are not easily offended and are the kind of person who finds toilet humour funny or like some of hilarious then this is a show which may just put a smile on your face. This is a comedy which is counted by many as a true comedy classic and I put this in that categorie also.

Summary: A Marmite comedy...love it or hate it. Toilet humour and violent comedy in its most extreme form
