Advantages: Funny, Mayall and Edmonson work great together

Disadvantages: Laugh tracks

Bottom is a sitcom first broadcast in 1991. It is written by the stars of the show Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson. The show is about two friends living together Richard Richard (Rik Mayall) and Edward Hitler (Adrian Edmonson) in a very badly kept flat in Hammersmith, London. They are both unemployed and spend a lot of time arguing, beating each other up, trying to make money and trying to get 'birds'.

The humour in this program is silly and violet but it will make you laugh all the time because of the brilliant performances by Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson. They work really well together and the the face expressions they pull off are hilariously funny. A lot of the show is done in the flat and that is a great place for it as it is full of places for them beat each other up and get into funny situations.

Usually when it comes to comedy's I don't like laugh tracks with them as I think they can ruin a perfectly good comedy. However even though Bottom does have laugh tracks it does not take away from the overall experience of the show which I am very pleased with.

Overall it is one of the best British comedy's in my opinion and is defiantly worth watching even years after it was first shown. Defiantly a classic that will not be forgotten by me.

Summary: A great watch even today.
