Advantages: It was brilliant and non hypercritical in teaching teens about life

Disadvantages: its not on anymore so youll have to buy the dvds

The best teen programme ever? well ill be honest its up there with the likes of the wonder years. Unlike many other programmes of its time such as saved by the bell and 90210 which were totally over the top with the whole baywatch theme and talking down to kids with the bog standard episodes of what you should do in school and what you shouldnt this was more of a family based show which brought in family members and teachers alike.

The show focuses mainly on Ben Savages character Cory who we follow through his high school years alongside the love of his life tapanga,his brother eric, his friend shaun and his brother jack, all facing the problems of growing up in the usa and getting themselves in to all kinds of situations that their parents and the headteacher, the infamous Mr feeney who conveninently lives next door to Cory and his family and teaches even though hes really old, has to help guide them through. The show even goes beyond school and later follows the problems faced in adulthood. An all round brilliant show which deserves to be known as one of the greatest teen shows of all time so bring it back to the small screen now!

Summary: its just that addictive you may not leave your tv again
