Braceface is a Canadian animated series. It is produced by actress Alicia Silverstone who originally did the voice for the lead character. ***Plot*** The show is set in Elkford and is based around pre-teen Sharon Spitz, who is an eighth (later ninth) grader. The show revolves around her life in high school, her family and friends. Sharon likes a boy at school called Alden Jones and finally he notices her. Life is suddenly going great! - until - she has to wear braces! This is an awesome series. A 2nd season and DVD/VHS releases would be awesome. - Advantages: Funny, Easy for teens to relate (even guys like me), Great episode plots. - Disadvantages: No VHS or DVD releases, No 2nd season
