Overview
Britain's got Talent - well some of the nation has. Britains got Talent is a reality TV programme with a difference. It aims to find the most talented person in the UK and give them the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show in front of the queen. Whilst many shows only allow singers to enter, this programme allows any act to enter. The first series of Britains got Talent was aired in 2007, with a second series in the pipeline.
The Acts
Britains Got Talent unlike Pop Idol and the X factor promotes all acts from all backgrounds to enter. Acts include dancers, circus performance, singers, musicians. In the first series we saw circus performance and entertaining bartenders. The first series saw carphone warehouse salesman Paul Potts win. He had a lot of talent as he an opera singer sang Nessun Dorman. He blew the judges away. You cannot forget Connie Talbot the 6 year old who had the first of an angel. For her age she was outstanding and also made it to the final
The Judges
The judges on Britains Got Talent include producer Simon Cowell off X factor, Amanda Holdern (actress) and Piers Morgan (known for his sharp tongue and quick wit.) We weren't let down. The combination of Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan provided some much watch TV as Amanda Holden attempted to keep the piece
Ant and Dec
Britains got Talent improved further with the inclusion of presenters Ant and Dec. The pair made the programme entertaining as they interacted with each other to give the show humour.
Summary: Fuuny, much watch TV
