Advantages: Well worth watching cant wait for the next round

Disadvantages: some sad acts

Did anyone else see Britains Got talent last Saturday night the final.

I did and could not choose between the acts as so many of them were brilliant. I especially liked the four girls playing the violin and base. Not just any violins and base they were metal and very nicely worked pieces too. The music was brilliant and they deserved a final place in the show but were pipped to the post by George the Dancer. He was also very good and did an amasing routine to singing in the rain. I think it was a brave move on his part to go ahead after being told by his doctors that maybe he should give up the dancing due to a rare spinal condition he has developed. It can paralyse him if he continues but whether that will stop him dancing for Prince Charles who can tell. I hope he finds a way to get what he wants and keep his health he is such a rare talent and deserved to win in the end.
I am not trying to detract from his obvious talent as I think he well deserved the win and I admire him for sticking to his guns and going for the dream and succeeding where others thought he should not so if I sounded patronising I am deeply sorry because that is not what I was aiming for.
There is also the other side of the coin too he won when then was so much other equally rewarding talent in this hard fought competition it is a shame there could not have been runner up prizes to go along with.
There were so many with such great talent I can only hope that they were snapped up by talent scouts.

In case anyone out there does not know what this show is about it is mainly this, there are three judges which go around from town to town looking for the best that Britain can offer in any kind of talent. From singing to novelty acts like juggling. They then go through thousands and thousands of auditions weeding out the rubbish acts and finding new talent. These acts get through each stage upon their own merits and if good enough they will then get through to the finals. Which is where last weeks show came in. This show is hosted by Ant and Dec and the primary Judge is Simon Cowell the final judges are Amanda Holden and Giles Morgan. They sit on the panal and decide who is to go through with a buzzer knocking out the acts one by one if they do not think they are worthy. Three buzzers and your out sort of thing. Also towards the end the audiance gets to vote the act they want to see in the finals through. Pretty simple if quite brutal and smashes some peoples dreams to smitherenes. So it can be quite harsh although initially some of the acts are taking the biscuit a bit as they are truely aweful.
As they get through to the final stages of the series the suspense heats up and the best of the best get through which makes it a hard fought competition and well worth in my view watching. The prize as in this case is £100,000 and to perform to Prince Charles in the royal variety show. Who knows even recognition from talent scouts for some of the others. I would like to hope so.
I hope this helps to clear up some of the comments asked about and happy watching when the next series comes along. Even watching the bad acts is entertaining.
Simon Cowell is actually quite nice in this programme unheard of.
