I have to admit that I have been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer from the moment it hit British screens. I think this program is open to all age groups as it is the most entertaining program I watch.

The basic story is about a girl who has supernatural powers in order to fight against evil and save the world from doom. Mean while, trying to lead an everyday teenage life, boyfriends, socal life, e.t.c.

Of course Buffy has her faithful friends to help her along, as well as her "Watcher" who instructs and trains her in the worldly ways of slayerdom.

The story is now progressing as she meets "Riley" who happens to also be a demon slayer but part of a huge society that was set up to capture demons and insert mind chips into their brains in order to make them harmless to others.

They did this to "Spike" a vampire who has for sometime had it in for the slayer and has been in a lot of previous episodes.

Now harmless Spike escaped from the clutches of Riley and his society and went (ironically) to the Buffy. He has now become part of the team as he has found the chip enables him to fight demons, but not humans, he is by far one of the best characters because of his humour throughout the episodes.

Although there is an on going story, each episode is a seperate chapter so anyone can really fall into this program and not get lost by complecated plot lines.
This program is well worth a look and combines humour with fantasy, very addictive, very good!!
