Advantages: Sarah michelle Gellar and a great story line
Disadvantages: none this show is perfect
well what can i say this programme is my favourite and the best programme on tv. Its a huge hit in america and here in England. I rate myself as one of the biggest buffy fans in the world. I have got all boxsets and i have seen every single episode of the show. Right from the start of the first series i watched buffy and found it brilliant now in its 5th season on sky it just gets better and better.
Buffy the Vampire slayer was first made as a film in 1992 by Joss Whedon but wasn't really any good. He then decided to make it into a tv series and now it known world wide. For those fo you who don't know Buffy is about one girl a chosen one in every generation whos job it is to fight demons, vampires and other evil.
This programme has everything in it and with buffy and her pals fighting, kissing and shagging vampires and demons what could be more exciting. Creator Joss whedon really does have talent for writing such a great show which in america pulls in audiences from everywhere. Even after 5 series buffy is still going strong and with sky getting the new series ahead of bbc it makes it even better being able to watch it b4 all the people you know.
So if you want to check out what all the fuss about this great show is then watch it on BBC2 thursdays 6:45 or skyone fridays at 8pm and if you want to see the first series then watch skyone tuesdays at 8pm.

- 10/03/01 I actually really liked the 1992 film of Buffy. I think that it was a good film, maybe not fashion wise for the 21st century(!) but I don't think that you should've said that 'it wasn't very good' because it was actually a cult hit...it just happens to be that the tv series is 10 thousand times better, but I still think that the film was good. |
