Advantages: makes you want to dance, sort of, refreshingly original

Disadvantages: should have been a special two hour show

WARNING! COUPLE OF SPOILERS AHEAD SO IF YOU HAVENT SEEN SERIES 5 AND DON'T WANT TO KNOW THEN DON'T READ

Having watched BTVS from the first series i was actually glad when she kicked the bucket at the end of the last series. I was glad because i thought it would force the writer to actually come up with some inventive storylines ( minus Buffy ) as opposed to the rubbish that was series 5. I was disappointed when she emerged 40 minutes into the new series,a bit of a cop out. So i settled down to endure another really boring season of BTVS with only the thought of a forthcoming quirky 'musical' ep to look forward to with mild curiousity.

However nothing could prepare me for the dance fest that was ' once more with feeling '. A great tale that was like Moulin Rouge with vampires as all of Sunnydale is enchanted by some strange demon, making them want to dance and sing till they explode. Throughout the episode we are treated to routines from the whole of the scooby gang with some surprisingly well written songs. This could have been SO kak but i was entertained from start to finish, and i must say that it has proved a turning point for this series, with each episode improving. Its nice not to have Buffy moping around in those jumpers with her hair tied up, all Dawsons Creek. Fair enough her mum did die last series but that was a few episodes. The rest of that series made me want to slit my wrists too.

At least i am back to looking forward to watching BTVS this time. This type of programme shouldn't be a chore to watch and if Joss Whedon writes more episodes like OMWF then it definately won't

I admit it, I'm a Buffy and Angel fan :) This is the episode I most wanted to see and missed! But I'll get the slippery little sucker next time. Thanks for the op pablodiablo.

I'm a total Buffy addict and that musical episode was one of the best. I love it!
