CSI (crime scene investigation) is one of my favourite programmes. It is interesting and innovative. A crime drama with up to date state of the art forensic tools, imaganative crime scenes and characters, to keep you addicted. CSI goes into how crimes are commited and investigates the intricate details of what it involves being a CSI. CSI has been the number one scripted series in the Neilsen ratings for four years running and is currently in its 8th season. Set in Las Vegas this is the original CSI show, there have also been spin offs set in Miami and New York however this is the original and the best of the three. The show follows the investigations of a group of crime scene investigators led by the rather strange Gil Grissom who is a bit of a loner but very loyal to his team and he also has a facination for all things to do with insects. Being and American show most of the characters (except Gil) are a bit glamourous although each one has some part of their life which is not quite right and this is sometimes woven into the story line. I've watched CSI since it started, over the seasons the plots, acting and effects have got better. CSI is Crime Scene Investigation based in Las Vegas, it is about a team of Forensic Investigators who have to find and process clues to solve the crimes. Jerry Bruckheimer is the man behind CSI.
