Advantages: The characters

Disadvantages: Not same without the original characters

It was my wife that got me to watch CSI one night, and from the first episode that I watched, I wasa addicted to the whole show. The became a regular viewer during the third season, and since then, I have continued to watch it. It is not like any other crime show, in that it shows how the crimes are solved scientifically rather than the police doing all the work.

This is show is all about the science of a crime, and the characters use tools, techinques and of course the post mortem to solve the crimes, and you hardly see the police in this show. It is great to finally see a scene that shows us what happens behind the scenes in the criminal investigation process, and when you think about it, it is really csi's that solve the case, not police.

Grissom is the main character in this show, and is joined by fellow characters, Nick, Warrick, Catherine and Sara. Each episode involves new crimes, mainly murders, and it is very rare that a case carrys on, but they do on occasion. I am now watching the ninth season, and there have been many characters changes. Grisson has left, as has Sara and Warrick was murdered, which was one of the best episodes of the entire show. This is a brilliant show and gets my definite and absolute recommendation.

Summary: Great show.
