I was flicking through the channels one night and found CSI there was nothing on tele so I just decided to watch it.

CSI is a group of forensic scientists solving many different crimes usually murders or missing persons. It is set in Las Vegas and each charcter has a different personality and you can relate yourself at some point to at least one of them. Starring William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Paul Guilfoyle, Eric Szmanda.

This gripping program had me addicted to it from the minute I started watching it. Each story line is different and there tends to be more than one happening at one point when the CSI's split up on different cases.

This is quite realistic unlike other drama series similar you tend to think 'this would never happen.' I particularly like Gill Grissom (William Peterson) as he is your typical school nerd, he plays a really great character who knows a lot of stuff but does not boast about it.

Although, some times the story lines you can guess 'who done it' it is great to sit and guess with yourself or friends on who the culprit really is. This is great entertainment as it gets you involved in the story line itself.

I have all the box ets and currently awaiting the release of season 9 on DVD although I am a little worried as as the moment I am not so keen on them on television as it seems all the great characters are being replaced or dying, and I am not one for change especially when the program did not need improving.

An episode lasts around one hour on TV but around 40 minutes on DVD. Great to watch and you don't really have to start watching it from the very beginning so you can start watching at any time.

Overall, I would strongly recommend this program to anyone as it is extremely entertaining and its good to watch the characters as they are funny (and also good looking.)
