I find CSI to be a very interesting show. While you know, for the most part, that the cast will solve the case (I believe there's only been one that they didn't solve in one show. If I'm right, it was later solved when the murder began killing again. It was the one with the supposed 'suicides' who left a 'suicide note' on tape). It is interesting how they can take the smallest thing and "piece together" the evidences that leads them to the (real) murderer (or in some cases, that it was an accident). Sometimes they have very little to go on, some times not even a body. I wonder just how much of what the show does is actually possible and done in the real police department. If the technology was this good, you'd think there'd be more cases solved (I know of a murder that happened in 1995 that still isn't solved. It happened to be a person that worked for the same company I did at that time (but didn't know him personally)). Whether the technology they use is real or not, it's still fun to watch.

I like the characters. Gibson is fun to watch, especially as he looses his hearing, yet tries to act as if nothing's wrong. I like watching him sign, as I know sign language, although, due to the angel he is sometimes in (or the camera doesn't show a full shot of him), it's hard to understand him just by his signing. I do find it odd that if Gibson had grown up at least part of his childhood with a deaf mother, that he doesn't know sign language better than he does. He looks like he just recently learned it and isn't sure of himself (this could be because it's the case with the actor).

This is another show I've never heard of - me being a confirmed TV addict too! I doubt the police do make the most of the technology in real life, but it's interesting to see what they do have available to them today to solve crimes. Sounds like a good programme, might check it out next time it's on. Another good review of yours. Ziggy.
