Gerry Anderson has to be the greatest puppet show maker of all time. With greats like thunderbirds and Stingray Captain Scarlet is no exception. My dad managed to record just about all of Captain Scarlet on video and I have watched them all millions of times. Captain Black and two other members went on a mission to Mars where they found the Misterons. They mistook a scanner to be a weapon and they destroyed the Misteron city. ThMisterons managed to rebuild the city but ook over Captain Black to help them in their conquest to destroy all humans. THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS. WE KNOW THAT YOU CAN HEAR US EARTHMEN... As a kid I could never resist growling those words whenever I saw rays of sunlight, reflecting off something (my wristwatch usually) move across a wall. DUM-DUM DUMMM DUM-DUM-DUM DUM. Ahhh, my childhood... Growing up in the Seventies was quite frustrating. You had missed all the good stuff that went off in the Sixties, and had to suffer the Bay City Rollers and Showaddywaddy instead. Even worse ITV just would not repeat Thunderbirds.
