Advantages: Interesting, getting over a stale patch

Disadvantages: Predictable

Recently Casualty has got so much better, about 2-3 years ago it was all going so stale and the stories were overworked and too predictable.

Now the stories, featuring medical emergencies and the lifes of the staff at Holby A&E are most definatley picking up, the stories are still predictable (Why do we always guess that it will be the casualties visitor that ends up collapsing and dead and why are the staff always coming across accidents on their way to work?) But I think that predicitng the outcome is part of the fun of Casualty.

I live in Bristol where casualty is filmed (they shot one scence in our block of flats - it was a whole days distrubtion for 2 mins of film, but great fun to watch)

When I first moved to Bristol I had no idea where they filmed Casualty and so spins a funny story:

One night I realised that I had left my keys at home, and so had to go to the college that my partner was attending for night school so I could get his keys, I got lost strolling around the campus and soon found myself wandering around a hospital ground, I was confused and wandered around a bit more, getting very annoyed looks from the people I passed.

I later found out that it was not a hospital, just where they film Casualtys outside shots! and I had distrupted shooting! ah well how was I to know!!!

But hopefully Casualty will be on our screens for a while yet, I particulary like watching the lifes of the hospital staff.
