Casualty along with Holby City are definately not shows for the squemish who hate blood and guts. Although some of the stuff is worse than horror films and they still allow it on before the 9pm watershed. Anyway, I think Casualty is one of the best shows around and although not every part of it is 100% realistic it is still an exellent programme.

Holby City and Casualty were the first ever programmes to be about and set in the same hospital. Casualty has been going for years and Holby City has only been going for a couple of years. I prefer Casualty and although I enjoy watching Holby I love the excitment and dramas in Casualty.

A lot og characters in Casualty have been there for a long time, these include people like Charlie. Charlie has been there since it first started all those years ago. He has stayed through every drama and every crisis, he is definately a great asset to the show. Also Duffy has been there a long time, she had a long break at one point but is now back as the nurse. At the end of the last series she saw her husband die and now she is left pregnant and with two kids to look after. These are two of the best characters on Casulaty and I love watching them and see how they act.

Casualty is a bit like a soap and although it has its little storys in each episode the plot with the main characters carries on each episode. Like Holly's stalking incident carried on for weeks and weeks leading on each episode. But it is split into series though.

Probably one of of the best things about Casualty is the way it adds lots of little storys into each episode, these little storys lead up to accidents which then end up at Holby A and E. These little storys make the show better and add a bit of character to the show.

Casualty is a great programme with exellent special effects, they make the show realistic and the characters' injuries come to life more. I love watching it and each little part of Casualty makes
it more and more intriguing. I love watching this show and try to watch it whenever it is on. It is a brilliant show which will hopefully carry on for years to come.
