Casualty is a BBC drama which airs on Saturday nights, usually around 8 or 9pm. Ever since it was first shown in the mid 1980s, each 50 minute episode has focused on the staff and patients of the Accident & Emergency department of the fictional Holby City Hospital. What makes this medical drama different to some others is that ... Read the complete review

I've watched Casualty since it first began many moons ago in 1986, the show has had its ups and downs, unfortunately it's in one of its downs at the moment, but it still makes for a reasonable drama to fill a Saturday night. Initially it was a medical drama that had a beginning and an end, the first seasons lasted just 15 episodes each. ... Read the complete review

Casualty is one of the greatest medical dramas that Britian has to offer. This medical drama comes on everyweek for 50 minutes and is a BBC programme which has been running for over a decade. Storylines: are believable for a medical disaster drama and they have new medical problems everyweek and sometimes the patients do die in the end. ... Read the complete review

I've been a dedicated Casualty-watcher for years, and have always really enjoyed it, but recently have realised its not as good as i originally thought... It is enjoyable, with exciting plot lines combining serious dramatic scenes with light humour, but it always follows a pretty typical order. Soon enough a character will come in and you can ... This is a drama series about the staff and patients at Holby General Hospital's emergency department, following the ups and downs in their personal and professional lives. The show has close ties to its sister programme Holby City which began as a spin off from Casualty. I must admit to not watching earlier seasons of casualty but as my wife ... I've been watching Casualty for what feels like forever. Years and years and years! Still if I miss an episode I have to watch it on catch up before I even think about the next one. It's based in the A & E department of Holby City Hospital, yet very rarely do the two join together. It was first aired back in 1986 and lasts for ... Read the complete review

My wife loves this show and occassionally I am dragged along to watch it with her! The show follows the drama that happens on an accident and emergency ward in Holby City hospital. The show airs every saturday night and lasts for around 45 minutes. It has been running for more than 10 years and so is very established. Casualty is not the ... Read the complete review

I am a very new fan of casualty. I peronally blame this on my new Bt vision box but hubby says i'm just a soap addict and I guess I would have to agree. I do insisit that this 'soap' is a little different though and in fact I wouldnt call it a soap at all more a drama. Set in Holby city A&e department in the city of Holby which is ... Casualty is a medical drama made for the BBC and has been running for over 20 years. Casualty is the gripping edge BBC drama. As it looks almost totally real it is in fact all fiction. Casualty is set in the ED of Holby City and out on the road with the paramedics. The scenes the parapedics deal with are great and you would think that they were real, it's only when you step back and think, why would a camera man really ... Read the complete review

The NHS is dying; Max, for god's sake, get it into resus. No room? There must be room - this is the nation's saviour, the flagship that Britain hangs on to, and the stalwart paragon of great British socialism. But Max we must save it. As a long running and loyal supporter of Casualty I feel I have to tell you how I feel.I remember Charlie with curly hair and his flying jacket,Duffy with her strong Bristol accent which she seems to have lost over the years and more recently Dr Partick Spiller, the most sexiest doctor I have come across.Everything seems so real that you feel you ... How long has this program been running now? As far back as I can remember anyway! I used to love sitting with my Mum and watching this program when I was a kid, hiding behind the cushion when there were gory bits. Casualty along with Holby City are definately not shows for the squemish who hate blood and guts. Although some of the stuff is worse than horror films and they still allow it on before the 9pm watershed. Anyway, I think Casualty is one of the best shows around and although not every part of it is 100% realistic it is still an exellent programme. ... Read the complete review

I was left shell-shocked after the final episode of Casualty on BBC 1 this spring. Although the series usually ends with the culmination of one of the year's major storylines and we are left gasping for more, for example the Chloe/Sean/Lisa triangle and then the following Sean's departure and her search for him. "Casualty" is a long-running TV drama on BBC1 in the 'traditional' time slot of 8pm-ish on Saturday evening.
