Casualty has to be my favorite saturday night shows. It is a drama set in hospital in the fictional town of Holby centering around the lives of the hospital staff but allows us into snippets of the lives of the patients too. The characters are individual and realistic and you slowly grow to love the main characters, the doctors ... Read the complete review

Casualty has been around for years now. It can have some very powerful story lines yet it can also have some really boring story lines, it`s the cast that make it what it is today. Some of the stories are a bit far fetched but you can tell the producers and cast have researched to make sure the effect is real. The cast themselves all are good ... Read the complete review

Casualty is probably the best program the BBC have ever put out. I have been watching it for about eight years and I have watched nearly every show of it. It is all about the accident and emergency unit at a hospital trying to help sick, old and injured people. There is a lot of good drama at the hospital and you get really involved with the ... Casualty has been running since the mid 1980's now, and despite the frequent cast changes (not many of them seem to stay more than 2 years) is still the best medical drama series on TV. It has been the catalyst for many actors careers - Brenda Fricker and Robson Green to name but two, and the storylines are always of a high standard. ... Read the complete review

Gosh, if Casualty depicts what goes on in real A and E departments in the UK, then I am never going to get ill again! When will the staff get it together? They could have built the pyramids with the love triangles that they all seem to be knotted up in each series!! However, despite the frightening incompetence of most of the staff, ... This is definatly a programme that must be seen, this gripping drama has all of the characteristics of the perfect series, good acting, great storylines, good effects. It really does keep ur eyes glued to the screen. I think that they are lacking longer episodes, we need to see some 2 hour programmes, as we just cant put up with 50 mins. All of ... This is, in typical BBC style, a good quality solid drama. Based in the casualty department of Holby City Hospital it tracks the lives and loves of the staff in the department as well as their every day workload. The drama is thick and fast, with life an death situations being the norm for this cast they appear to be able to deal with in the fast ... Read the complete review
