In my younger years we had art attack. Well this program is basicly the same but with a different person.

Mister maker shows the children how to do artwork from materials that you would find around the house. Parents I would advise to keep any empty containers and boxes in a safe place for your children.

In this program they have a big wall of draws that are full of different things so that he can make things and they play catchy music and speed the movements up that never fails to make my daughter laugh.

The art that they show the children to do is simple but some will require adult help and supervision. This art work is brilliant for any child to try and will give you ample bonding time with your child.

There is also a 1 minuite maker. This is where you are shown how to make something in a minuite which my son picks up on and will go and show all his friends at school what he can do.

There is also the shapes these are people who are dressed up as shapes and dance and sing a song that makes my daughter dance along, at the end of the song a shape is picked and a picture is created with that shape that the child has to try and guess what picture the shape is making.

The best part of this program for me is when the children make a picture, my daughter will not move from infront of the tv. The children are all dressed in different colours and lie down on the floor to make a picture. The reason that I like this part is because I have noticed that my daughter is copying saying the colours after the children say it.

This program not only teaches the children to be creative it also teaches them basic shapes and colours, because the music is catchy it keeps your child interested in watching it. The presenter of the show pulls silly faces that the children love to watch. I think he is brilliant for the children to watch and they do seem to learn alot from this program.

I would advise any parent to watch this program to get the ideas for things to do with their children. You are also able to get all the information from the show on the cbeebies website and it will also give you things to print off and colour in and even making ideas.
