Advantages: great guests, lots of gossip, good presenting

Disadvantages: nothing

The follow up music programme viewed by the UK after smTV. I always watch this show because I roughly want to see who is number 1 that week and also to find out the latest music news and information.

PRESENTERS
__________
The show used to be presented by Cat Deeley and Ant & Dec but they left so it's now Cat Deeley and James Redmond (ex hollyoaks star). There are rumours that Cat could leave soon but she will hopefully stay for a while because she is a good presenter. The good thing about the presenting is that they are always so lively and cheery in the morning and look as if they love their job. The other good thing is they are so friendly with the famous people so most stars ask to come on the show because they love it. I personally think Ant & Dec did present better but James and Cat seem to get on well and also ant & dec have moved on to bigger and beter things.

THE SHOW
________
The show usually starts off with cat and james telling who is going to be on the show then the first live act plays, there is always someone good on the show. It's a mix from rock, pop, r'n'b and also indie a great mix instead of it being all pop music. Uusually the acts are always singing live with occasional mime. The performances are always great and it's great to watch. I like the setting out of the show I think it's done well so that there are not too many performances together but interviews and news between acts.

PRIZES
______
Every week the guests on cd:uk hand in some merchandise and goodies for one lucky viewer to win. The lines are 60p a minute and it is a bit expensive but worth it to win autographed prizes and tickets etc. I used to always phone in for this but I realised I was spending too much money on it.

INFORMATION ON THE SHOW
_______________________
In the show, there are lots of different things, some weeks they follow groups on tour or interview them on certain things. The
re is worldpop news which features on what is going on around the world. Then there is the gossip from all the papers and what has happened.

Usually cat sits down to chat with many of the guests and she is really friendly to them and it's just like one girly chat so they always feel comfortable and the guests are always really nice and they tell the truth. This is interesting and good to watch viewers email and post in the questions so they guests get to answer to their fans I like the idea better.

They always show latest releases and sometimes exclusive videos which have been shown for first time.

THE CHART RUNDOWN FROM 10-2
___________________________
This is the bit of the show I love to watch where we found out the latest week sales the day before the UK Top 40, to fine out the cd:uk number 1. Once the number 1 has been said the artist will perform or the video will be shown.

CONCLUSION
__________
The show lasts from 11:30am to 12:25am. The only reason sometimes it may start at 11 or later is because of sports. I think the times are good it's about the time everyone gets up so it;s not having to get up too early.

To be part of the audience you have to be over 18. You only phone up and you don't have to do anything to be there.

I love this show and think it's great for all ages. The best music show going right now and I always wake up to watch it.

The reason I gave you a U instead of a VU is that its a bit to "matter of fact". You need to put more of yourself into the opinion rather than just stating the facts.

Check out some more of my music reviews to check out what I mean.
