Celebrity Big Brother

Newest Review: ... I do not understand why they take on Celebs in the show are are boring like Ben. Celebs know they are going to get some sort of cash for coming on the show. Celebrity Big Brother would be a much better show if they had in some real celebrities. How about Beckham? How about Vinnie Jones? How about some famous celebrities that are known all over the world! I am tired of seeing washed up celebs on the show! There is good entertainment sometimes with Celeb Big Brother but around 80 percent of the show is boring. Celeb Big Brother should bring in some very good celebs would that be interesting or what?... more

Premium Review Celebrity Big Brother: Put on real celebs! (249 words)

Celebrities decide it's time to enter the house and get their career's back on track. That is what many people think and I think it is true. The celebrities who enter the house are hardly even known by members of the public any more. This year we saw the likes of Ulrika Johnson on the show. They are very dull most of them who go on the show. When celebrities enter the house they never actually make the show good at all. Coolio this year was actually fun and saw was Verne but the rest of them were dull. Ben Adams were so boring in the show you could fall asleep listening to him talk! There were hardly any funny moments in the show expect for Coolio ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review EX-celebrity Big Brother. (237 words)

Celebrity Big Brother is an addition to the main Big Brother shows, shown in January, humiliating EX-celebrities. Celebrity Big Brother shares the same basic principles as the original show with tasks, nominations and evictions but still seems to feel watered-down (especially since the Race-related issues in 2007). It really shouldn't be called celebrity Big Brother as most of the housemates are way past their peak and often out of the business. It seems to be used as more of an opportunity for them to re-kindle their career rather than produce some real entertainment. That said, having been in the spotlight it does add to the enjoyment of watching ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Celebrity Big Brother: Big Brother: TV For Voyeurs (367 words)

Big Brother began in 2000 and the housemates for the season have changed with each series. It started off with ordinary people being pushed together and asked to perform certain tasks. There were evictions and challenges to get through until the winner was decided, and then it developed into a celebrity version. This has to be one the worst, 'no-brain' cheap shows ever made for television. The whole idea is to get a number of celebrities, make them live in a house together and humiliate them. The camera just records what happens. This is just titillating rubbish for those with voyeuristic tendencies. For a start, the whole idea of the show is a non ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Celebs get to make fools of themselves and make some money f ... (646 words)

Celeb big brother started off as a one to raise money for charity in 2001 but is now a long running tie in to big brother. Celebs are put into the house for 3 weeks and are paid for their time so long as they do not leave on their own accord. Contestants compete to win a cash prize to give to a charity of their choice at the end of the show. The celebs that enter the house arent A listers at all and have normally been out of the lime light for some time. The show caused quite a stir in 2006 when a non celebrity, Chantelle Houghton, was put into the house who actually won. As it is well known that a lot of Z list celebs go into the house, no one really ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Celebrity Big Brother: (Z List) celebrity big brother (336 words)

The concept of Big Brother is something that grabbed my attention for one or two series, but then promptly lost it. I just didn't find it interesting seeing random people living in a house. Then came CBB, which promised something more intriguing - celebrities doing the same thing. This grabbed my attention, and became something I really wanted to see, so I settled down in anticipation. Of course, I was somewhat bemused by one thing- the celebrities. When it says celebrities, what it really means is 'Z List celebrities'. Yes, we all know who they are - people who used to be famous and want to be once more, so will put themselves through any amount of shame to ...  Read the complete review
