Big Brother mayhem once again (Celebrity Big Brother)

Advantages: Can be entertaining at times

Disadvantages: Do Big Brother have any enw tricks up there sleeves?

I hear a lot of people complain about Big Brother being boring and what not, but i find it pretty interesting if not for the show aspect of it but for more watching how individuals get a long when forced in to this goldfish bowl also known as big brother.

This years celebrity big brother has a host of interesting characters and whilst it is early days to pick a winner, my favourite is either Coolio or Tina. Both of these people i found interesting individuals and also i was surprised at how well they have got a long in the group thus far. Maybe i was too judgmental about them before i even had chance to see what they offered as people, Coolio being a US Rapper and Tina being a Scouse actor.

As for the rest of the group, you can see for the most part they will get a long, all the girls seem to be a similar age and of and perhaps share similar interests. Terry and the Scottish fella seem to have a lot of topics to talk about and whilst they may not agree i doubt things will ever get heated between them.

LaToya Jackson and Verne i can see struggling to interact with the group, not because they are outcasted but simply because for one they are from a different social background and the humour and even language is very different for them. Secondly, i don't think they deal well with these kinds of social situations, and perhaps it's for those reasons they have put themselves forward for Big Brother.

The format is very similar to the regular big brother and this year the celebrities even face the prospect of not having hot water and straighteners on a daily basis *shoch horror* so it is nice to see some celebrities bought down a peg or two..however for the most part this bunch seem a humble lot.

There may well be some flirting and possible shenanigans going on, with Brian i believe from A1 and a couple of other young girls in there such as Lucy, Michelle and Mutya. Not to mention Coolio who seems quite a forward individual. Oh and Verne who commented that he liked the idea of a 5 in the hot tub scenario.

I'm sure Big Brother has lots of things in sore for our celebrities, and whilst Big Brother may have lost some of it's magic, i still like to watch the condensed show on channel four at 9pm as there is often not much else on anyhow.

Summary: It is the king of reality shows i feel, if you are bored of this genre of TV. Turn over.
