Advantages: Gentle to watch

Disadvantages: Same old rubbish!

I like the concept of Big Brother but it has become worse and worse each year with a plethora of vacuous half-wits who will do anything for fame. The celebrity version is slightly better because they are celebrities and so by definition, more interesting than us mere mortals. what is particularly good about celebrity Big Brother is that you don't have to waste time getting to know the losers - you already know them - well you are meant to. Let's face it, you rarely get a decent celeb in the BB house. This year is quite surprising, with a number of big names.

Latoya Jackson is in there. Poor thing is just like the rest of them - still a child and terrified and amused by the life of real people. She looks like Michael and talks like Michael. Has anyone ever seen them in the same room at the same time?!

There is also Verne (sorry don't know his surname) - mini me from Austin Powers. He seems like a nice guy.

I cannot quite believe they have managed to get Coolio - surely he is too 'cool' for big brother? I sense a new album coming out.

There are two wannabe girl singers - well they are girl singers but only just - one from Liberty X and there is another one, oh I can't remember - actually maybe she's the glamour model. That sums it up really - most of them are nobodies but slightly more interesting than completely non-famous nobodies!

Oh and there is a Scottish politician who is VERY liberal.

Should be a good show this year, as there is a good mix of people and some proper celebs for a change!

Summary: Hopefully will be a good year - cannot resist watching it.
