Advantages: great contestants this year

Disadvantages: i feel a tad sorry for Terry being made head of house

I must admit I do like watching Big Brother in the summer and the winter Celebrity version can be just as if not more entertaining. It has been running for six years now and sometimes the housemates are barely celebrities, but this year I think they have managed to scrape together quite a good mixture of people. They seem to have gone for some famous foreign stars, which probably are a bit less knowledgeable about the whole concept of big brother and then brought in some lesser known UK celebrities to boost the numbers.

This year's celebrity contestants are:
Ben Adams - former singer with UK boyband A1
Coolio - rap singer
La Toya Jackson - part of the famous Jackson family and elder sister to Michael
Lucy Pinder - glamour model discovered on Bournemouth beach
Michelle Heaton - former member of UK group Liberty X
Mutya Buena - former member of UK group the Sugarbabes, now a solo artist
Terry Christian - former presenter, now radio presenter
Tina Malone - UK actress, plays a role in Shameless
Tommy Sheridan - Scottish politician
Ulrika Jonsson - television presenter
Verne Troyer - famous actor, played Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films

After watching the opening nights show and last nights hour on channel 4, my favourite contestants so far are Coolio, Verne and Ulrika, although Tina is very entertaining, I particularly liked it when Coolio was laughing about the whole 'Shrek' joke that backfired somewhat. Am I the only person who is appalled by the amount of time Tina spends swearing for no apparent reason, showing a distinct lack of vocabulary and for the sheer number of cigarettes she manages to get through in one day! There was a point where Ulrika saw Tina counting her cigarette packets and she was absolutely gob smacked, it was disgusting!

I am really enjoying the show so far and will be watching again this evening. If I had to pick my tip to win the entire show at this stage I would say Verne, he's funny.
