I first saw charlie & lola when my 3 year old daughter was watching her favorite channel cebeebies and she started telling me all about it so i just had to watch! I have to admit i love the programme as it is based on lola and her older brother charlie who tries toexplain things to lola and the programme shows in pictures how a 4 year old would understand what would seem to us a the simplest of things such as getting a hair cut, brushing teeth and going to bed .. all things that children want to know the word "WHY" The programme and books for that matter explain things in a way in which children can relate to and understand. For us adults to read/watch it can be a bit of an eyeopener to see actually how the child sees things in their mind. My two year old son is even starting to become obsessed and when we are out shopping if we see something "charlie & lola" my kids just have to have it no matter what it is, I have noticed a lot more merchandise comeing out lately such as "bed time lola" with her story book and tooth brush, lots of jigsaw puzzles and number and letter games to encourage children learing along with their favorite tv characters. We have lots of dvds loads of books and all sorts and im sure santa will bring a few more things this christmas ;) It has a great witty sence to the programme and the theme tune is so catchy ! Charlie and Lola have become very well known in the last few years and i dont think there are many children or adults infact who dont like watching them.
