Advantages: Lovely kids show
Disadvantages: none
I have this little sister Lola, she is small and very funny!!
I think I like Charlie and Lola more than the kids lol!
It's a very sweet and cute childrens tv show, which I quite enjoy too.
The layout for Charlie and Lola is quite unlike any other, it is a collage arty type animation rather than your usual cartoon and it works very well.
The characters are as follows~~~
Charlie
Lola
Soren Lorensen
Marv
Lotta
and Sizzle the dog.
Charlie is Lola's older brother and where as Lola is very energetic and a little bonkers!! Charlie is patient with her and is always there willing to help Lola.
Lola is voiced by Maisie Cowell in the first series and by her little sister Clementine Cowell in the second, Lola unlike Charlie has a varity of different outfits, some being rather wacky! She is 4 nearly 5 years old.
Charlie is voiced by Jethro Laundie Brown in the first series and by Daniel Mayers in the second. Charlie will usually be seen in a white and green top with his name on it, and blue jeans. He is 7 years old.
Lola has an imaginary friend called Soren Lorensen, no one can see him except her! He gets the blame for lots of bad stuff!!! She does also have a best friend called Lotta, who lives down the road. They have fun together and like to hold hands whilst whispering (very loudly)!!
Charlie has a friend called Marv who he likes to play football with. He also like his little sister Lola as she's small and very funny! Marv lives downstairs in the same block of flats as Charlie and Lola, he has a dog called Sizzles.
The show is aimed at 3 - 7 year olds, but it's quite popular with adults due to it's humerous and relatable storylines.
I think it's a really lovely show and would recommend everyone to watch it!
You'll find the show on BBC 2 at 10.05am on weekday mornings.
Summary: An overall sweet, funny show thats also available in books
