Charmed is a TV series about three sisters. In the first through till the third series it stars Holly Marie Combs, Shannon Doherty, and Alyssa Milano. However, in series 4 - 8 Shannon Doherty is no longer in the series and Rose McGowan then comes in to the series. The three sisters are witches andas they are three it makes them 'charmed' (or the most powerful witches). The witches fight demons in order to protec there life and there powers, but nothing is as simple as made out... Pru (Shannon Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe Halliwell(Alyssa Milano) are Charmed. Three magic sisters that fight evil, day in, day out. I actually caught this show fairly early on, around series 2, on Living TV some years ago. As with all the great shows, the channel re-ran the earlier series, so I can honestly say I've seen every show Charmed have done. And am a HUGE fan. Ok ok...so just how many demons can there possibly be for one group of sisters to fight? Charmed is a story based around the lives of three sisters who discover that they are all powerful witches who will for the rest of their lives have to battle demons, witches, warlocks and other mythical creatures. Charmed is an excellent tv show that deals with 3 sisters, Pruedence, Piper and Phoebe, and the fact that they have to deal with being witches, after being in the dark for their entire life about their gifts. The sisters themseves have a somewhat rocky friendhsip to start off with, as we find out that the eldest sister doesn't like her younger sister very much, but after a while they really start o like living with each other under the same roof again. The actresses themselves are very similar in looks, so unlike most other shows that deal with siblings, its actually believeable that these 3 could be sisters.
