Advantages: Hilarious, can watch over and over, different comedy types

Disadvantages: Some sketches will not appeal to all

Chewin the Fat is possibly the greatest ever comedy sketch show to have been shown and is still hilarious after I have seen it a huge amount of times. The show has sketches which are using the same characters (the lighthouse keeper and his assistant as pictured are a perfect example) and has them in different scenarios...for example the lighthouse keepers assistant is one of those people who has to entertain himself through things like sewing the front of the lighthouse keepers pyjamas shut, cutting out the bottom of his bed pan, puting a seal in the lighthouse keepers bed whilst he sleeps and tearing out the last few pages of the book he has been reading only to eat them in front of him for a laugh. The comedy is simple and yet truly brilliant as it is the simplicity that makes you relax and enjoy as the amazing Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill make you laugh out loud over and over again.

Summary: An amazing sketch show and worth a watch for those who haven't seen
