Advantages: Great Action scenes and very funny
Disadvantages: Plot is a bit repetitive
Chuck has been described as a mix between the Bourne Identity and The 40 year old virgin and I can agree with this, although I reckon it is a bit closer to the comic genius of the 40 year old virgin. I have said this many times before, but Americans in recent years make far far better shows than us British. It is sad and exhilarating at the same time, but there is a clear difference in the levels. If this was a British show it would be one of the best, but its not even in the top 20 American shows at the moment. Saying that though it is still an excellent show.

My Opinion
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is such a simple plot idea, but with excellent casting they have made it very watch-able indeed. I just have to say firstly that Yvonne Strahovski that plays agent Walker in my opinion is stunning and I am sure many people watch this show just because of her. The awkward chemistry that she has with Chuck is great though and this is an important part of the show. As she protects Chuck, she is also a bit of a rival with John Casey who is the other agent. They both want Chuck to trust them more and is protecting Chuck all that they have been assigned to do....
All the characters that work at the Buy-more with Chuck are also great, and each provide their own unique style. This is the part that is like 40 year old virgin, with many different comic scenes and everyone is likeable. My personal favourite is Big Mike who plays the depressed manager and he is one of those actors that you are bound to recognise from other movies and shows.
The episodes after a while do a get bit repetitive, but the producers of the show know this, and they do make the episodes as interesting as possible. After all this is meant to have a bit of comedy in it, so is just a bit of fun. It will never be as good as shows like Prison Break or Lost, but it is an excellent show and one that is well worth checking out. I actually can't imagine a better cast for the lead roles and it is worth knowing that McG was one of the executive producers here as well, which means that are some slick action scenes, although none of them involving Chuck. The two agents, Sarah and John Casey are excellent fighters and it is clear to see that Yvonne is in real life a very skilled fighter. She hopefully can push on from here and break into the Hollywood scene in the future.
Summary: One to watch
