Coca Cola Christmas AdvertNewest Review: ... did actually contain Cocaine (cocoa bean extract), and was sold for medicinal purposes, this was taken out in around 1903, so it has been a very long time since cocaine was present in Coca Cola, but it kept the name. The whole Santa face came around when Coca Cola started to come up with something in the 30s to try and survive the Great Depression which was quickly spreading across the ... more |

As it is coming back to that magical time of year again, I am yet to see the first showing of the annual Christmas Coca Cola advert, but as soon as I do, it is officially CHRISTMAS!!! == The Coca Cola Christmas Advert == Ever since I remember there has been an annual Christmas advert for Coca Cola, it starts to be aired in November, usually early November, and although this year I have heard from a few people that the advert has been played, I haven't seen it myself. The advert has been the same for a few years now (except the one year when sacrilege occurred and it wasn't on at all...!), and ever since I remember has had the same music, ... :::::::::::::::::: The Christmas Coca Cola Advert :::::::::::::::::::: I remember this advert from when it first started and this advert for me is the first special idication that Christmas really is right around the corner. This advert is one that sticks in everyones minds, the favourite among Christmas fans and others alike. I fall into the 'I wish it was Christmas everyday' catergory as i just can't get enough, i won't ever grow out of it!! This advert always reminds me of 'The Polar Express' in some ways, I think that it is the batallion of bright red lorries, with lights highlighting the edges and the famous Coca Cola sign, that does it, it makes me ... The Coca-Cola Christmas advert - otherwise known (at least to me) as the official start of Christmas. Now, I don't like the newer one so much, but this one - the one with lorries, with Father Christmas' jolly face, the lights, the snow, the little kid and most importantly, the 'holidays are coming' background music... well it's just magical! Now, I do love Christmas (although as it happens, I can't stand Coke, ugh, how do people drink it?) but this is quite a famous advert, everyone knows it and even the Grinches and Scrooges of this world must have a small smile when they see this. Interestingly, it was Coca-Cola, which first put 'Santa' in red ... Read the complete review

Im a big kid when it comes to christmas I think I love it more than the children. This advert is when I know christmas is here and I can start getting into the spirit of things and I do tend to buy more coke around this time so this advert does really work. My favourite part of this advert is the music the holidays are coming the holidays are coming not that christmas is much of a holiday anymore because everyone has to work it now. I can be sitting in the kitchen and hear the music and will go into the livingroom to watch it I find it so mesmerising. You have all the trucks with the coca cola sign on the side the snow and all the ... Read the complete review
