Yes I think we all need to get our socks back on as my favourite, well one of many of my favourite programmes is returning to the small screen this coming weekend.

Yes it's cold feet, and this is meant to be the last ever series, but I do hope they get an offer they cant refuse as I really want this programme to carry on as it brings me many a laugh.

This programme hit our screens almost 5yrs ago with a group of unknowns, now they are some of our countrys highest paid actors due to this addictive programme.

It starts at 9pm on ITV, and is the fist installment of eight in the series.

It was originally based on writer Mike Bullens friends, and is now hugely popular in 33 countries.

It has bagged 18 awards and has had best tv comedy 3 times.


It revolves around 3 couples in their 30's, Jenny and Pete, Rachel and Adam, and Karen and David.

It shows them going through the pressures of love, life and relationships.

At the end of the last series Jenny and Pete were in bed together after being seperated due to Pete's affair with a girl at work. In the new series Though we see the end of Jenny, which will be really sad.

Adam and Rachel got married after a long seperation due to Rachel being pregnant and not knowing who the father was, as she slept with her ex husband who was black, so she decided to abort in the end. But now you see them struggling to start a family of their own, having Adam overcoming the problems with testicular cancer, so are now going through IVF.

David had an affair with colleague Jessica, and his wife Karen found out at the end and hit the roof. so we will see if their marriage can survive!

Other poeple in this series is the lovely Ramona, Karen a
nd Davids Spanish nanny played by Jacey Salles, Pete and Jennys son Adam, played by twins Matthew and Anthony York, and Josh David and Karens son, also played by twins David and Christopher Hall.

There are to be some special star guest in this series too with Kimberley Joseph from home and away and Victoria Smurfit from Ballykissangel.

I just hope this new series wont be the last, and it lives up to all the previous series'.
