I first go into this show after reading about it in a tv magazine, and it seems to have a bit of a cult following.

So what's it about? As far as I know this show has been going for a few years now and it seems to be in a few different formats. There is the "celebrity" version, which featured 4 celebrities on an hour long show, the hour long show, which featured 4 contestants and when it featured 5 contestants it ran for 5 half hour episodes.

The new series started on channel 4 on Monday at 5.30pm, and runs from monday-friday for 30 minutes. Also they have been showing re-runs on "More 4" on Sundays at 4.30pm, which has been 5, half hour episodes, and on Tuesdays at 9pm.

So what's it about? The format is 4/5 hosts (depending on what show it is!) What happens is each host hosts a dinner party for the rest of the group. The guests give the host marks out of 10 for their dinner party, and the person who gets the highest score gets £1000 prize.

As you can imagine things don't always run smoothly. With hosts getting stressed out, burning food, dropping food, forgetting wine and so on. There is a commentary running throughout the show, and some people find the man sarcastic and annoying, but I think he makes the show more entertaining!

You can always pick up tips on cooking, so it's entertaining and informative.

I would recommend this to anyone, as it's a great show and perfect viewing for the autumn months
