Recently on one saturday afternoon I wasn't feeling so well so decided to curl up in bed and watch some TV. I came across an omnibus edition of one weeks episodes of the program 'Come Dine with Me'. I had never seen the program before and thought it was just another regular cooking show. But nevertheless I watched it anyway. I was pleasantly suprised with the program and now I'm addicted to it. It is shown on Channel 4 every weekday at 5.30pm. Each week sees 5 contestants. Each day one of these contestants hosts a dinner party and cooks for the other 4 in their own home. Each of the 4 contestants score the host out of ten for their hosting skills and their cooking skills. The scoring is done at the end of the program in secret. At the end of the week the host with the highest score wins £1,000. This sounds like a simple concept but at the same time it is very entertaining as the contestants are from different backgrounds and don't always get along. One of the best things about this program is the commentator Dave Lamb who comes up with very witty one liners which will be gaurenteed to make you laugh out loud.

Summary: A great show. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen this before.
