Come Dine with Me - not on your life, but I'd love to watch you dine others.

This is a brilliant show on TV at the moment. The concept being 4 or 5 strangers from the same area get together each night for a week at each persons house and they cook for eachother, provider entertainment and then rate the others between 1 and 10. The person with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000.

The thing that really makes this show for me is Dave Lamb the narrator. His humour is incredibly dry and none of the guests escape his sarcastic comments, I'd watch it purely for him. Some of the guests are classic car crash TV which is made even better by Dave Lamb.

The show bills itself with a bit of a cooking show element saying that the recipes are available on the website, but I couldn't tell you what they have eaten by the end of the show usually as I've spent most of the time laughing and missed the actual food.

This is shown on Channel 4 around 5:30pm weekdays or on a Sunday evening. Its great weekend hangover TV and is on permanent record in our house.
